Agrigem

An impressive meeting at a local business networking event

Back in 2012, Liam met with Kieran Would, the managing director of a new business called Agrigem. There speciality was professional grade Weed Killers, Moss Killers, Fertilisers, Grass Seeds and Spraying Equipment.

Kieran wanted to get more sales through their e-commerce website and decided that Zaddle were perfectly placed to help (especially as a local business).

We implemented Google Ads Search Campaigns to cover the large range of agri-chemicals for sale on the website. The following year, Google Shopping Ads (Product Listing Ads) launched in the UK and we were positioned to quickly take advantage of this exciting (and now essential) advertising channel.

When success results in growth.

One of the consequences of helping clients grow, can be that they reach a point where they want to build their own internal marketing team. And this is exactly what happened between Zaddle & Agrigem in May 2016, when Kieran took the PPC Management In-House (after they had received Google Ads training from Liam). At this point we parted ways, ended on good terms and wished each other success in the future.

Sometimes they come back!

Fast forward to April 2016, and Agrigem had continued to grow, but Kieran wanted to go back to outsourcing the Google Ads management, feeling that it needed a dedicated specialist to look after their increasing budget, who was also able to navigate through many of the new changes Google seemed to be making on a regular basis to their platform. We were happy to take this back, and were pleased to see that many of the campaigns we had originally set up were still working well.

We have been working with Agrigem ever since and have introduced Microsoft Bings Advertising, done a technical SEO audit that was then used as guidance to build the current new website and built a custom Google looker studio dashboard that shows a top level overview of their marketing channels, as well as product category level return on ad spend.

The Google Looker Studio Dashboard also allows them to filter to specific product categories (which often have different ROAS targets) to see how these are performing both within the given month AND see a 12 month trend graph showing Cost, Conversion Values and Return on Ad Spend).
